HERITAGE enthusiasts are wanted to take part in this year’s Gosport heritage open days.

A number of sites and countryside areas will open to the public for free in September.

This month, a workshop will be held for people who want to get involved in the event.

Organiser Claire Coxwell said: ‘This year we are hoping to find some new people who would like to be involved.

‘Whether it is an archery club, a lace-making class or someone who has access to one of Gosport’s heritage buildings.

‘We can provide information on how to open up the building or share a particular area of interest during heritage open days.’

The workshop will be held at the Explosion! Museum of Naval Firepower on March 24 from 10am.
