BRAND new toys were delivered to Queen Alexandra Hospital by a motorcycle club.

The New Forest Harley Owners Group (Hogs) made the delivery as part of its Easter Toy Run.

Before stopping at QA in Cosham, the group delivered toys donated by friends and members to children at Southampton General Hospital.

Paul Langdon is a member of the Hogs and was an organiser of the toy run.

He said: ‘The New Forest HOGs and Southampton Harley-Davidson carry out an Easter Toy Run every couple of years and always include the local hospitals.

‘As in previous years, it was a rewarding experience to see the children’s reactions to seeing Buzz and Woody strolling around the wards handing out the toys donated by friends and members, and made the effort in organising the event especially rewarding.

‘We look forward to visiting the hospitals again in the near future.’
