AN MP paid a visit to McCarthy & Stone’s new development in Wickham.

The Conservative MP for Meon Valley, George Hollingbery, joined Eddie Norwood, senior site manager for McCarthy & Stone to lay the foundations for the
official date brick at Wykeham Court

He also took a tour of the site and the new show apartments to find out more about living in a low-maintenance retirement apartment.

He says: ‘It was a pleasure to visit Wykeham Court and commemorate the finishes touches with the official date brick.

‘Living independently and securely is so important and with an increasing ageing population, it’s great to see developments like this in Meon Valley, which will help local homeowners
maintain their lifestyle with ease.’
