THERE will be a trio of fundraising concerts for a hospice.

Whether you like classical, big band or choral music, there is something for you at the shows in aid of The Rowans Hospice, Purbrook.

The first is by The Hampshire Guitar Orchestra at St Nicholas’ Church, Wickham on March 15.

Tickets are £8 in advance or £10 on the door.

The Rowans has organised its own Voices Concert at Barton Hall, in Horndean, on March 23 at 7.30pm to raise money for Dorothy’s Dream, The Rowans Hospice at Home appeal.

The concert will feature some of the best local choirs including Vocalise, Spinnaker Chorus, Solent Male Voice Choir, Portsmouth Rock Choir and Portsmouth Grammar School Glee Choir. Tickets are £10 each, available in advance from The Rowans.

The final concert is the D-Day Brass Quintet at Southwick Church on March 30. Tickets are £6 and include refreshments. Send a SAE and cheque made payable to Rowans Hospice marked Concert to The Chaplain, The White House, Southwick, Hampshire PO17 6EB.
