STUDENTS from Fareham took part in a festive musical celebration.

More than 250 children from 17 special schools across Hampshire gathered together at Winchester Cathedral.

The event, organised by Hampshire County Council’s Music Service, re-told the nativity story with a modern twist, combining traditional Christmas carols with other songs and readings.

The Baycroft School Brass Band in Stubbington were among those taking part at the service.
