A NEW £6m care home will open near Fareham next month.

Hamble Heights is a new luxury care home based in Park Gate with residential, specialist dementia and nursing care.

It will become home to 60 new residents and is set over three floors.

Residents will have access to state-of-the-art lounges, a bistro, a hairdressing salon and a quiet library.

Each resident will have their own large, light and spacious bedroom with an en-suite wet room.

Some rooms also have their own private gardens.

Moira Baxter, general manager, said: ‘Everything we do is centred on our people, and we are so proud of what we have built for our residents.

‘We really want all our residents to feel at home from day one and they can all look forward to receiving the very best in care.

‘Funding can be a major worry to residents and their families.

‘We’re always happy to visit and explain how the private and state fees system works.

‘It helps to have a friendly face, a sit down chat and speak to someone in the know – going that extra mile is part of the ethos here at Hamble Heights and hope it gives all our residents and their families that extra peace of mind.’

Hamble Heights will open its doors early in February.
