THIS beautiful foal is the latest addition to the host of animals at Staunton Country Park.

The fine young filly was born to farm favourite Rose 10 days ago, and the rangers at Staunton, in Leigh Park, have asked News readers to help name her.

She has become a star during her short time at the farm with lots of names put forward, including Beauty.

But because she is a pedigree Shire horse her name must begin with Staunton.

Adrian McKay, the farm manager, said ‘Both mum and daughter are doing well and enjoying their time on the farm and getting lots of attention from our visitors’.

So far her days have been spent lounging around in the sun and resting on her wobbly legs.

To put your name forward pop into the park, in Middle Park Way, during half term or call (023) 9245 3405.
