A PUPPY abandoned in a toilet block has been rehomed thanks to a flood of requests from smitten dog-owners.

The eight-week old Cocker Spaniel was found near the public toilets on Purbrook Heath on January 10 after being dumped by his previous owner.

An online campaign by East Hampshire District Council’s to find him a home took off with thousands of people logging on. His new owner is an experience dog owner who has fostered rescue dogs in the past.
