Energy firm SSE took on fellow Havant-based company Accenture in the charity match on Wednesday night.

The game, held at Park Community School, was raising money for Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham following the success of SSE’s five-a-side match last year.

Nick Gale and Felix Umolu, from SSE, organised the event.

Nick said: ‘Last year was really successful so we wanted to hold another game on a bigger scale.

‘We went to the hospital and asked which department gets the least donations and they said it tended to be the older people’s wards.

‘We are hoping to raise £400 for the hospital and so far we have £200. As well as giving the money, we will be spending a day at the hospital to meet the patients and see what the cash will be used for.’

SSE won 7-1.
