PAULA Bartlett is all smiles as she is made an MBE for services to law and order and to the Portsmouth community.
She has been recognised for her work as the crown court area operation and delivery manager for the Crown Prosecution Service in Wessex.
Kate Brown, chief crown prosecutor for CPS Wessex said: ‘I am delighted that Paula’s work has been recognised in this way.
‘She thoroughly deserves the investiture for the contribution she has made and is a truly outstanding member of staff who we are lucky to work with.’
Jason Putman from the CPS Wessex, said: ‘Her determination and dedication has led to CPS Wessex being an exemplar of innovative digital working.
‘Two years ago, Wessex handled 52,000 paper files in the magistrates’ courts and now all cases are prosecuted using the digital processes developed and put in place predominately by Paula.’
