The multi-award-winning photographer describes his style as ‘relaxed and unobtrusive’ in order to get the most natural-looking photos possible, but he can also get plenty of more formal, posed shots.

Among his many happy clients are Pete and Jennie Fincham, who hired Johnny to capture their big day on Southsea seafront in June.

‘I’d fallen in love with his landscape pictures and I wanted our pictures to be natural and all about the surroundings,’ says Jennie, who married Pete at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth before heading to Southsea Beach Café for the reception.

‘Johnny got it completely, and he captured the day so well. It was really relaxed and he made all the guests feel really comfortable.

He is also available for christenings, family portraits, baby and pet shoots, as well as commercial and corporate bookings.

Matt Wilkinson, who married Samantha at the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard in March, says: ‘He provided an excellent service from the introductory meeting to the big day.
