A UNIVERSITY of Portsmouth employee will show off his culinary skills on the Great British Bake Off.

Enwezor Nzegwu’s pavlovas and Victoria sponges will come under the scrutiny of judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry in the hit BBC1 programme which airs next month.

The 39-year-old married dad of four is a half-Nigerian and half-Japanese business consultant.

He told the showmakers that when he sets his mind to something he does it.

And he proved it when he spent eight months walking around with no shoes on after deciding to do the Great South Run barefoot.

Enwezor taught himself to bake in the last three years.
