PRINCE Charles gave Type 45 HMS Dauntless the royal seal of approval when he paid a visit in Kuwait this week.

The Prince of Wales, who served in the navy for five years and commanded the minehunter HMS Bronington, was in Kuwait on the third day of his six-day tour of the Middle East. HMS Dauntless is in the Gulf in support of the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group, and was alongside for a four-day port visit.
