Probe after boat fire off shoreline near A27

AN INVESTIGATION is underway after a boat fire.

Two appliances and a Land Rover support vehicle were deployed to the shoreline near Harts Farm Way, Havant, at around 8pm.

Firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the blaze on the 16ft fibreglass boat.

Crews said no-one was on the boat. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
