Residents are being asked to get involved in a project to find the families of the men and women who died in the First World War from Buckland, Portsmouth.

Twenty Streets of Portsmouth is a project organised by Keith Roberts and a team from St Wilfred’s Church, George Street, to find anyone who has any connection to the 993 men and women who were involved.

If you know of family who lived between St Mary’s Road and New Road and fought in the war, come to a meeting at the church tonight from 6pm to 8.30pm or Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm.
