PEOPLE have the chance to meet rescued greyhounds in Commercial Road, Portsmouth, on Saturday, April 21.

Greyhound Rescue West of England will visit Portsmouth from 9am until 4pm to raise funds for the charity.

Charity workers will be there for the day to talk to anybody who might be considering rehoming a greyhound.

The charity rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned and abused greyhounds and lurchers, and manages to find homes for more than 800 dogs a year across England and Wales.
