BUDDING musicians are being offered the chance to meet experts at the Rockschool and learn more about its syllabus.

The worldwide provider of rock and pop exams will lead a workshop at Musicroom Portsmouth, Commercial Road, on September 8.

Special guest Noam Lederman, Rockschool chief examiner and professional session drummer who has worked with Corinne Bailey Rae, State Of Bengal, Mark Hill and Trevor Horn will be at the event to talk to visitors and answer questions.

There will be live demonstrations from Rockschool guitarists.

The music school’s exams are taken by tens of thousands of students every year and it has recently launched its eagerly awaited new syllabus for guitar, bass and drums.
