THE Rotary Club of Fareham has joined forces with
Wykeham House School to help their community.

Fareham Rotary has formed an Interact Club for young people aged 12 to 18 who want to tackle issues in their community and worldwide.

The pupils organised a Wykeham’s Got Talent show and raised £175 for those who suffered in the cyclone that hit the Pacific island of Vanuatu.

In addition, some of the girls knitted squares which were sewn into blankets and presented to the Fareham Stroke Club.

President of the Rotary Club of Fareham John Rowlinson said: ‘We are proud to have our alliance with Wykeham House School Interact young people, and the positive outcome can be seen in the Fareham area as a result of their hard work.’
