TO mark the 84th year since its creation, Portsmouth and Southsea Round Table will hold an annual charter dinner on Friday.

The event will celebrate the table’s work over the past year and plan future projects for the coming year.

It takes place in the Nelson Room, above The Dolphin pub, High Street, Old Portsmouth, and will see members of the past meet the table’s current members.

Deputy Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor Frank Jonas, is guest of honour.

Matt Dennison, from the Portsmouth and Southsea Round Table, said: ‘The evening is all about having fun, meeting with friends, and looking at how we can fundraise in the near future.

‘We will also be discussing what we’ll be doing in the coming year, and celebrating all that we have achieved since we were chartered 84 years ago.’

Anyone who needs assistance from the table should call Matt on 07989 898410.
