THE Rowans Hospice is holding an open morning for anyone interested in working for it.

Opportunities exist for trained and untrained nurses for the ward and hospice at home as well as companion volunteers and complementary therapists.

The recruitment event in Purbrook Heath Road, Waterlooville is on Saturday, June 27, from 10am.

It will include a brief presentation, interview and tour of the hospice.

Erika Lipscombe, matron at The Rowans Hospice, said: ‘If you have excellent nursing skills and the desire 
and motivation to develop your skills in a specialist hospice environment then you could be just what we’re looking for.

‘Above all, good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.’
