Prince Charles has praised the new Mary Rose Museum as a great British achievement.
The Prince of Wales was touring the museum today with the Duchess of Cornwall.
As part of their visit they met schoolchildren and museum staff before getting their hands on some of the museum’s artefacts.
Prince Charles also tried out a longbow.
Afterwards, he said: ‘This is a great British achievement and I hope this exhibition will give pleasure, enjoyment, interest, and new knowledge to many people throughout the world.’
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall took the time to speak with tourists at the dockyard as they left the museum.
