A SUPERMARKET has welcomed people in for some spooky and sparky fun.

Sainsbury’s in Farlington invited people of all ages to promote safety and fun around fireworks and at Halloween, with visits from the emergency services.

Leaflets were given out to everyone there to advise them on safety, and activities included face-painting and finger-printing.

All ages got to enjoy the events on offer, with the youngest being tiny tots, to the eldest – a 79-year-old woman who had her face painted.

Sainsbury’s ambassador Amanda Osman said: ‘We were really impressed. Everyone enjoyed it. We’re definitely doing it again.’
