A POP-UP store at Whiteley Shopping Centre will be taken over by salty sailors and their trusty parrot.

The Southampton charity Jubilee Sailing Trust, which promotes tall ship sailing for all will take up residence in the Treehouse at Whiteley from Monday until Sunday, July 14.

It will be putting on daily entertainment, including musical performances from Brookfield Community School Brass Quintet, Titchfield Primary School, Solent Sounds Chorus Ladies’ Barbershop and Bitterne Park School Jazz Band.

The charity will hold a prize draw to win a day sail on the tall ship Tenacious, drawn on Sunday, July 14.
