Sci-fi and Christmas come together for a special event at the Mountbatten Centre next month.

People can get their photo taken with a 1966 Batmobile, and have Jedi lightsaber training at an event run by the Hampshire TV, Film and Comic Con.

Star Wars fans can also meet the voice behind Darth Vader – David Prowse – along with a host of other special guests.

There is plenty to see and do at the event, which runs from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, December 13.

Visitors can see real reptiles and spiders and buy collectables and merchandise.

Youngsters can also meet Santa, with a free gift on a first-come, first-served basis, and can ride the rodeo reindeer. It will be supporting the Starlight Make a Wish Foundation.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £6 for children and family tickets are available.

Separate autograph and photoshoot charges apply.
