A RENOWNED writer will be discussing his novel.
Screenwriter, playwright, and novelist William Nicholson will be talking about his latest book The Lovers of Amherst at Chichester Cathedral on Monday, June 15.
Twice Oscar-nominated Mr Nicholson, will be at the cathedral from 6.30pm as part of the Festival of Chichester.
The Lovers of Amherst is set in 1881 in Amherst, Massachusetts, USA, and interweaves the stories of two love affairs.
Mr Nicholson has written scripts for films such as Gladiator, Shadowlands, Les Miserables, and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and his previous novels include Motherland and Reckless.
