THIS amazing subterranean shed has been short-listed for a national prize.
Barrister Tim Concannon has a passion for ancient history.
The 59-year-old was a long-standing trustee of Butser Ancient Farm and used his knowledge to create this Anglo-Saxon-style house at the bottom of his garden in Buriton.
It has now been shortlisted for the Cuprinol shed of the year in the historical category.
Inside it is furnished with seats and a stove and is used as an art studio as well as a venue for ancient poetry speaking and traditional seventh century dinners.
Mr Concannon said: ‘It’s for rest, recuperation, parties and art.’
