AN impersonator of Sir Norman Wisdom has set his sights high by planning to walk from London to Cardiff to raise money for charity.

Glenn Ford, 54, from Gosport, will be walking 166 miles in 10 days to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the British comedy legend, hoping to raise £10,00 for the Grand Order of Water Rats Charity.

Glenn said: ‘I knew Norman very well after meeting him in 1981 and thought doing the walk would be a great way to remember him. I’m so grateful for the support and donations given to the cause.’

The walk will begin in Paddington on Wednesday, February, 4.
