PATRIOTIC Lisa Dogan went the extra mile by painting a giant red, white and blue flag on her living room wall.

Lisa, of Harold Road in Hayling Island, made the gesture to mark William and Kate’s big day.

The 41-year-old went to great lengths to ensure the colour of the paints were exactly right before she went to work on her new decoration with her father.

She then invited her friends over to admire their handiwork – and even made them red, white and blue sandwiches.

Lisa said: ‘The wall looks brilliant. It’s a very big wall.

‘I’m quite patriotic and I knew it would look really good.

‘I thought it would be a great way to celebrate the royal wedding.’
