Southsea fire fighters tackle boat blaze
A FIRE crew from Southsea were deployed to a boat fire on Ferry Road in Eastney.
After being called at 6pm, two appliances attended the scene to tackle the blaze on the 17ft boat. It took fire fighters 15 minutes to extinguish the fire using one high pressure jet hose.
A fire fighter who attended the incident said: ‘The boat was 100 per cent destroyed by the fire.’
