THESE boxers are putting on their gloves in memory of murdered soldier Lee Rigby.

A group of talented amateurs from Team Bessey Boxing, who train at Leigh Park Community Centre, and first time charity boxers will take on each other in two rounds of fights.

The funds from the events will go towards the Forces Support charity that has been supporting Fusilier Lee Rigby’s widow Rebecca.

There will be 15 fights on May 30 and June 5 for both boxing lovers and charity supporters.

At the events there will be an auction that aims to raise more money for the charity.

Football shirts are up for grabs which have been signed by Pompey, Celtic and Aston Villa players.

Organiser Ben Keyte said: ‘If anyone has a raffle item that they would like to donate that would be great as we are actively seeking more prizes.’

Ben is trying to organise a football match between Pompey legends and celebrities to raise money for the charity.

The tickets for the boxing matches at the Pyramids Centre, Southsea from Ben on 07803 283705 or Billy Bessey on 07865 930960.
