LADIES from the Spinnaker Chorus sang their hearts out to raise money for good causes.

The award-winning group, which is based in Blendworth, Horndean, donated money raised at concerts over the past year to the Mayor of Havant’s Charity Appeal.

The Mayor, Councillor Ken Smith, donates cash to good causes including the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and Dorothy’s Dream and the Rowans Hospice at home appeal.

Cllr Smith’s wife, Hazel, is a member of the Spinnaker Chorus.

Cllr Smith said: ‘The ladies from Spinnaker are brilliant and they have been very generous.

‘They have kindly donated £120.’
