The 65-year-old, of Stamshaw, did it in exchange for a £25 donation to the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, one of the charities the tower supports. Mrs Holland said: ‘When a new baby is born, everybody buys everything for them and I thought this would be something different to do.

‘We went to see the tower and it looked beautiful. It was nice simply realising a new baby was born and this was my granddaughter.’
