SPINE-CHILLING tales and hair-raising activities are on offer to children this half term.

The Novium museum, in Chichester, is putting on events throughout the week themed around Halloween, which will give youngsters the chance to get creative.

Chilling Tales of Chichester is on October 28 from 5pm to 7pm. Tickets cost £5 each or £15 for a family.

On October 31 there will be a Family Crafternoon: Spooky Skeletons and Burials from 10am to 4pm. It is free for museum ticket holders.

On November 1 children can make Luminous Lanterns from 1pm to 3pm.
