THREE brave Co-op employees have lopped off their locks for charity.

Tara Trueman, Stuart Clark and Ian Cox, who all work at the Denmead branches of the firm, decided to make a big statement to raise money for local charity Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal and CHICKS, the Co-op’s nominated charity.

Tara, a 41-year-old team leader, said: ‘I was thinking of having it cut short and thought, why not go that stage further and do something for charity?

‘It was a real shock when I looked in the mirror.

‘My son isn’t impressed at all. My head gets very cold but I’m getting used to it!’

The trio raised around £1,000 which will be split between the two charities.
