THERE is still time for owners and drivers to register their vehicle for the 10th annual mayor of Havant’s Charity Classic Vehicle Run.

On Sunday, April 13, cars, motorbikes and commercial vehicles that pre-date 1988 will assemble at the Public Service Plaza in Civic Centre Road, Havant, from 9.30am.

They will be flagged off by the mayor of Havant, Councillor Paul Buckley, from 10am.

There will then be a ride through the countryside before returning to the plaza where vehicles are expected to arrive from midday.

They will then be on view for people to see as part of a family fun day, which begins at midday.

Cllr Buckley said: ‘This is always a very popular and fun event.

‘Last year over 160 vehicles took part and we look forward to viewing this year’s entries as some vehicles are unique.’

To take part in the free event you must pre-register. Donations to the mayor’s appeal are encouraged.
