THE thrilling sound of guitar music will fill a church for a charity concert.

The Hampshire Area Guitar Orchestra will be leading the concert at The Church of The Resurrection in Penrhyn Avenue, Drayton, from 7.30pm on Saturday, October 19.

Proceeds will go to Off The Record, a counselling service for young people based in Leigh Park and Fratton.

Mik Norman, from Off The Record, said: ‘We are really honoured that HAGO is playing for us. I first heard them last year and was bowled over by the fantastic playing and sheer exuberance of their performance.

‘If you’ve heard them before you’ll want to come again and if you haven’t you’re in for a treat.

‘They appeal to all ages and musical tastes.’

Tickets are £9 for adults, £8 concessions with a ‘kid for quid’ offer for under-14s.

Send a cheque to Off The Record at 138 Purbrook Way, Leigh Park, Havant, PO9 3SU, or go on-line at
