ARTIST Katy Worsfold is in with a chance of getting an exhibition in a national store.

The public voted the 19-year-old Chichester College student’s artwork French Poppy Field the best of all the entries made to the Hobbycraft shop in Havant.

KickstART Art supports local creative talents and the winner gets to exhibit their work in store for a whole year.

Students were asked to submit their own masterpiece using a creative medium of their choice, whether that is drawing, painting, sketching or sculpting.

Manager Elaine Bartlett said: ‘We understand how difficult it can be for art students to find exhibition space and showcase their talents.

‘We wanted to offer the chance to support artists in a way which got our customers involved.

‘I’d like to pass on my congratulations to Katy.’
