STUDENTS will be displaying their fashion and textile work at a gallery.

For one week, starting tomorrow, the Flora Twort Gallery at the Petersfield Museum, in St Peter’s Road, will be holding an exhibition of work by students from South Downs College.

The exhibition will feature a mixture of artworks and garments created by A-level fashion and textiles students, aged 16 to 18, for their coursework portfolios.

Students are encouraged to be imaginative in their use of materials and explore a variety of processes and techniques.

Their work is the result of investigating a range of inspirational starting points – from fungus, to steam engines and trips to Iceland.

The Flora Twort Gallery is open 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday.

An adult entry fee will apply.
