A CHARITY which transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities with assistance dogs is celebrating a quarter of a century in action.

Canine Partners, near Chichester, has matched people with 530 assistance dogs across the UK.

The charity trains dogs to perform tasks such as opening and closing doors, unloading washing machines and taking cards and cash from ATMs. There are 25 challenges that people can take part in to raise money for the charity.
