ENJOY a tasty treat and help raise money for charity by tucking into a bag of chips.

Whistler’s fish and chip shop, in West Street, Fareham, will be selling chips for £1 today and tomorrow so that punters can make a donation to a good cause.

The takeaway is raising money for Richard Hunt, an amputee ex-serviceman, from Portchester, who is gearing up to kayak around Britain in aid of Blesma.

Richard, 43, will be making a personal appearance at the takeaway on Saturday at midday, before visiting the Whistler’s takeways in Westbourne and Hayling Island.
