SARAH Adams cried tears of joy as she crossed the finish line.
The 46-year-old, who has multiple sclerosis and is in a wheelchair, was elated after completing the gruelling challenge with friends Elliott Dodge, 32, and Anthony Dommett, 36.
The trio finished the challenge with an impressive average of eight-minute miles.
Sarah was visibly overwhelmed as the friends crossed the finish line in Southsea yesterday.
Speaking moments after completing the run, she said: ‘It was amazing. I’ve had such a brilliant time.
‘I thought it was 5km we were doing, then they said we were doing 10 miles on the Sunday, I couldn’t believe it.
‘The organisation has been fantastic.’
Anthony said: ‘I did it last year. Sarah supported me and when we finished she said she would love to do something like this.
‘So we said we wouldn’t leave her behind this time!’
