RUNNERS are often left red in the face when crossing the finish line.
But tomorrow at 11am, racers will be tinged a variety of colours at the Run or Dye event.
The 5km run around Stansted Park near Rowlands Castle is raising money for Help For Heroes and The Elizabeth Foundation.
After each kilometre, runners will be able to turn themselves into a human canvas at one of the designated ‘dye stations’.
And at the end of the race runners will enjoy a ‘dye festival’ in the grounds of Stansted House.
The festival will include performances from MCs and a ‘dye war’, where competitors will be encouraged to cover one another with dye to become the most colourful team.
The event ends with a big final dye throw in order to ‘tie-dye the sky’, with participants throwing handfuls of dye into the air to celebrate the end of the race.
