TEENAGER Mark Nicholls will walk 42 miles from Leigh Park to Salisbury to raise money to help injured servicemen and women.

The 17-year-old is planning to do the trek on Monday, June 30 to raise cash for the charity, Help for Heroes.

He will walk from the estate to the charity’s headquarters.

Mark, of Cheriton Close, Leigh Park, said: ‘I wanted to be in the services.

‘Unfortunately I cannot join because of health problems.

‘I decided I want to help people in the services.’
