TICKETS for Butserfest are now on sale in shops.

Young people wishing to attend the festival can save themselves money by buying the tickets in a store.

A range of outlets will be selling the £20 tickets without the additional £1.75 charge of online tickets.

These include Horndean Parish Council, Petersfield Town Council, Bohunt School, in Liphook, The Petersfield School, in Petersfield, Queen Elizabeth Country Park visitor centre, Alton Sports Centre and Mill Chase Leisure Centre.

The tickets are £30 on the door.

Councillor Ferris Cowper, leader of East Hampshire District Council, said: ‘The goal for Butserfest has always been to provide a great day out for local young people.

‘Our local outlets give residents an opportunity to buy their tickets that little bit cheaper and I hope many people will come along for the day.

‘Staffed mainly by volunteers and council staff, and with no alcohol on site, the festival has a friendly safe atmosphere ideal for a first music festival experience.’

The festival is on September 24 and a number of bands have already been confirmed.
