MEMBERS of staff at businesses in Portsmouth are being invited to take part in a monkey-themed dress down day.

SignHealth is encouraging companies in the city to dress like a monkey on Friday, October 11.

The event is to promote the deaf charity’s fundraiser sign2sing, which is an annual record-breaking attempt for the most people signing and singing a song at the same time. It will take place on Wednesday, February 5.

Next month, people are being encouraged to dress like the charity’s mascot Olli the monkey to help promote the event.

Earlier this year, 116,980 people from across Portsmouth and beyond took part in SignHealth’s third sign2sing event and broke the Guinness World Record.
