THE Spinnaker Tower was lit up in blue to mark the birth of a new royal prince.
The Portsmouth landmark shone last night after a day of celebrations over the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s son.
On Friday and Saturday, members of the Portsmouth Royal Marines School of Music are due to perform at Gunwharf Quays.
They have now added a congratulatory song to their performances in honour of the royal baby.
They will be at the shopping centre from 1.30pm on both days.
The band will come to a halt at the base of the Spinnaker Tower to meet the public and play a finale.
