MEMBERS of the Salvation Army Band are tuning up for their annual Christmas show, Carols at The Kings.

They will perform a number of favourites and encourage the audience to sing along at the show in the Kings Theatre, Southsea.

St John’s College Junior Choir will also take to the stage, and Portsmouth High School Nursery will put on a nativity play.

John Burton, from the Salvation Army, said: ‘It’s got music, singing and nativity – these are the ingredients that Christmas is all about.

‘We always have a full house every time we do it and everyone gets really involved with the singing.’ The show starts at 6pm on Sunday. Tickets cost £5.50. Call 023 9282 4355
