PEOPLE are being urged to sign up to a sponsored cycle ride to help raise funds for a food bank.

Beacon Food Bank, in the Meridian Centre, Havant, is launching its first-ever sponsored cycle ride.

The event takes place on Saturday, September 13 and offers three levels of ride from one mile to 15 miles, taking in views of Langstone Harbour.

Riders will have a staggered start between 9.30am and 10.30am.

All cyclists will start and finish in the car park at The Spring in East Street, Havant. Water will be available at the start/finish line and at various points along the route.
