Video: Offbeat - Raccoon which was on the loose in British city getting fat on takeaways and bins has finally been caught

The animal - native to North America - was first spotted in the garden of Ray Forsyth and his wife Lynne Wood last year in Sunderland.

Baited traps were laid down and it has now been caught and tipped the scales at 8.1kg - but its gender is still to be established.
