WORKERS from Southern Water have performed a Christmas carol in a sewer to drive home the message of avoiding blockages.

A modern take on the traditional carol We Three Kings, the song encourages people to help avoid blockages by only flushing the Three Ps down their toilets – pee, poo and paper. Wet wipes and sanitary towels are often wrongly flushed down the toilets.

The video was filmed deep underground in Brighton’s Victorian sewers and is available to watch on Southern Water’s Youtube channel.
